Clearing up, picking what’s left.

It’s the end of September and the vegetable beds are looking like they are nearly finished for another season. We all helped to pull out the old sweetcorn stalks. It took us all plenty of pulling to get them out of the ground. We loved how the roots looked.

We noticed there were lots of tomatoes on the plants but they were all still green, until we noticed some were starting to turn red. I suggested we pick them and put them on the window sill in the sun and maybe in a couple of days they will turn red.
