Large seeds, small seeds

Sowing more seeds today. We saw that some are really large and we pressed them into the soil, while others are so tiny we had to sprinkle them onto the seed bed. The sweetcorn seed looked all shrivelled up, we couldn’t believe it will grow into a plant and give us lots of corn on the cob. We talked about how back in October how we decorated our pumpkins, and here we were today planting seed for more later on in the year. Some plants take a really long time to grow.

  • spring onions
  • sweetcorn
  • pumpkin
  • beans
  • courgette
