Podding broad beans

When we planted the beans they were just small seedlings and we have watched them grow tall, we saw the white flowers and finally we saw bean pods. We picked some off today, giving them a little twist as we did, and spent the afternoon podding them. We got the beans out by snapping the pod in half and finding the beans snuggled up in their blanketly bed. Snack time today was broad beans, with some left to take home afterwards.
